Campsites

We are surrounded by a varied and beautiful landscape. Below you’ll see our preferred list of campgrounds grouped by area. We can also deliver to sites on BLM land near Capitol Reef.

Our vintage trailers come with water storage and battery lights for camping out in nature. The campers don’t have toilets or showers, so keep that in mind when deciding where you want to camp. If you choose to camp at a campsite with electricity there are outlets and lights in the camper. Red Rock Country

Fruita campground Located in Capitol Reef National Park. This shady campground has flush toilets, picnic table, and a fire ring. The Gifford House is located nearby where you can buy small pies, treats, and souvenirs. Price starts at $20. This campground fills up fast. Reserve a site here.

Other options for camping near Capitol Reef are dispersed campsites on BLM land. Beas Lewis Flat and Sulphur Creek Road both have sites in the juniper and pinion trees. The sites are primitive, so there is no water, no toilets, just a fire ring. These sites are free.

Sunglow campground Located outside the town of Bicknell. This campground is at the foot of a beautiful canyon, at about 7,200 ft elevation. Located about 13 miles from Capitol Reef National Park. Campsites have a picnic table and fire ring. Campground has flush toilets. Prices start at $16. Reserve a site here.

The town of Torrey has several RV parks, these are about $20 – $45 a night. They usually have an electric hook up, toilets, showers, and other amenities. Sand Creek RV, Thousand Lake RV, and Wonderland Park RV.

Fish Lake

Bowery Creek campground is located near Fish Lake in the Aspens, at about 9,000 ft elevation. The campground has flush toilets, drinking water, a picnic table, and fire ring. Price starts at $20. Reserve a site here.

Doctor Creek campground is located near Fish Lake in the Aspens, at about 9,000 ft elevation. The campground has flush toilets, drinking water, and fire ring. Price starts at $20. Reserve a site here.

Fish Lake also has resorts, private campgrounds, and a small grocery store.

Boulder Mountain

Single Tree campground is located on Boulder Mountain on Hwy 12. It’s a shady campground nestled in tall trees, at 8,200 ft elevation. It’s about 13 miles south of the town of Torrey. The campground has flush toilets, drinking water, and wireless internet for an additional $5. There is a small waterfall about a 1 mile hike from the campground. Price starts at $20.
